FAQ
Can I heat the bowl or cup directly?
No. Only the kettle has a 304 stainless steel base designed for direct heat. Keep the bowl and cup off burners and open flames.
Can I use the kettle on a camp stove or open flame?
Yes. Keep the flame inside the safety line marked on the kettle's stainless steel base, away from the silicone sides.
When can I fold and pack the set after use?
Let the kettle and its stainless steel base cool completely before folding it and nesting the pieces together.

Game changer
I love this. I use it in a small camper where space is always a constraint. It folds down for storage. It works fantastically on my propane stove. You can see thru the clear lid to determine when it is boiling. It is easy to pour from the spout to make coffee in a pour-over filter. I would not carry this for backpacking, but for campground use it is great. I would love to see it in other colors.

Quality & Compact
Picked this up for camping and figured I'd try it out on the stove. What I like: +Lightweight and durable +Functional- easily folds near flat. +The spout has a bevel and spins. +Heats quickly. +No odd odor or taste. It is a good value if you want a kettle to heat water at the campsite or in the field.

Great for Camping
I wasn't sure how useful a collapsible kettle would be until I tried this one, but it has become a regular part of our camping gear. The 1.5L size is perfect for making coffee in the morning or heating water for meals, and it doesn't take up much space since it collapses flat when not in use. It feels sturdy, heats water quickly, and is easy to clean. I also appreciate how lightweight it is, which makes packing and transporting it a breeze. After several camping trips, it has held up well and shows no signs of wear. If you're looking to save space without sacrificing functionality, this kettle is a great choice. It's practical, well-made, and definitely worth the money.

Great for family camping
With two kids, we go through a lot of hot water for oatmeal, hot cocoa, and washing up. This 1.5L kettle is the perfect size for our family of four. It sits nicely on our two-burner camp stove. It does take a little longer to boil 1.5L compared to a standard metal kettle, but the space savings in the car is totally worth it.

Great little pot
Holds quite a bit of water & the metal bottom holds up over stove & campfire heat. I was even able to use it to plop some Jambalaya I sealed right into the boiling water to heat up!

Very handy kettle for camping
I was first introduced to collapsible campware in the service; a friend introduced me to the collapsible coffee cup and I never went without one again. When I saw this kettle, I knew that I had to have it. When it arrived, I checked it out; it seemed well-made. The instructions caution you not to allow flames to lick around the edges. This is common sense for something made of heat-resistant neoprene, but I must mention it. The rubber will melt if you burn it. Besides that, this kettle is simple to use. Extend it, and then fill it with water. Place it upon a heat source, and wait for it to boil. It does not whistle, nor should it. This means you have to pay attention to when it boils. When it boils, lift it using the handy carry handles, and pour. It does a nice job, and the split carry handles keep the lid in place. This is a very nice unit, and it earned a home in my camping gear. Recommend.

Perfect for Camping
This is perfect for my camping kitchen gear. It replaced a small metal one that always took up too much room in my tote. My husband and I enjoy pour-over coffee when we camp and need to have a kettle. I wish I would have bought this sooner. It is perfect!

great for downsizing camping gear
Worked great for camping and allowed me to downsize my tote. The old kettle was the biggest thing I had, so this really helped! No weird flavors, no weird smells. I did wash it well before we packed. I don't recommend using any new kitchen items without washing them. It poured SO nicely! It feels well made, solid and leakproof. It's super light and the sides didn't get too hot. The only thing I missed was the whistle. ^_^

Perfect
I am actually mad at myself for waiting so long to pull the trigger on this. I used to dread packing my camp kitchen because my old metal kettle was bulky and took up half my tote. I was skeptical that a collapsible kettle would taste like plastic or leak, but I was DEAD WRONG. It boils fast, pours perfectly for my morning pour-over, and collapses down to the size of a pancake. It literally gave me half of my trunk space back. If you are on the fence, this is your sign.

Clever design, just watch the hot water
The design is super clever. It collapses down to nothing. It's stable on the stove, but when it's completely full, it feels a little top-heavy when you're pouring. You definitely need to use two hands to be safe. Still a great piece of gear for solo car camping.
